The Gen X core sound is so good, I was dying to to play it with a proper keyboard - with the CV in/out on the X-2, I can! It's the Stylophone I always wanted. -

I'm really enjoying using the Stylophone Gen X-2 as a source for a really clear but customisable sound. It sounds great when ran through effects, but I find that the filter and delay onboard is brilliant for turning something very simple into a really complex sound. I'm especially loving using it for feedback and sound design -

I really loved the portability and CV capabilities of the Gen X-2 - they make the creative process very flexible. Inspiration can come at any time, and being able to pick up the synth and experiment with it while sitting on the couch in the evening made it easy to stay in that creative flow. I found it difficult to put the Gen X-2 down. -
